School Policies

  • There are NO REFUNDS for missed classes. Classes are non-transferable and must be made up within the nine-week session.
  • Lack of discipline or low attendance may result in termination from our program.
  • Be on time for class! This will extend courtesy to your instructor and prevent injuries.
  • Placement in all classes will be determined by the instructor.
  • All young dancers must be potty trained.
    • Pre-school Ballet 3’s (must be 3 by September 1st.)
    • Pre-school Ballet 4’s (must be 4 by September 1st.)
    • Kindergarten Ballet 5’s (must be 5 by September 1st.)
  • No street shoes, food, drinks, or gum are allowed inside the dance room.
  • Adhere to the dress code. In addition, no jewelry or underwear should be worn. Hair must be off of our student’s faces! Longer length hair must be worn in either a bun or in a snood for all Ballet classes.
  • In order to take any level of Jazz you must be enrolled in Ballet.
  • All students entering Ballet IV, V and Advanced Ballet must be enrolled in 2 Ballet classes.
  • Prerequisite for Pointe class is 2 Ballet classes per week and teachers consent. Level 2 and Advanced Pointe students must take 2 Pointe classes per week.
  • Dance shoes are not to be worn outside the studio.
  • Tuition paid by the session is due the first week of each session. Statements will be issued only if your account has not been paid by Week 4. A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Concert audition requirements are 2 Ballet classes and Jazz class for levels V and Advanced. Pieces that are Contemporary, Tap or Pointe will also require enrollment in those classes.
